"alternative solutions"
This flatfile selection is informed by my interest in nontraditional approaches to drawing. In the absence of pencil, charcoal or ink, and in some cases, even two dimensional surfaces, can something still be considered a drawing? Each of these works pushes the boundaries while maintaining some relationship to the traditional ‘works on paper’ genre. These artists all repurpose and reinvent with a specific interest in materiality.
