Saturday, May 12, 6 – 9pm: Kick-off Party / Tickets @ $50 each

Join us at The Kick-off Party on May 12 and support Kentler with a night of art deals, door prizes, music, and a host of Red Hook specials! $50 ticket includes food, drink and mingling to benefit Kentler’s 2018 nonprofit programming. And DJ Bene Coopersmith from Red Hook's famous Record Shop will be spinning records!

#MyKentlerCollection Social Media Campaign: portraits of collectors and their Kentler collections


Kentler International Drawing Space is pleased to introduce a new fundraising campaign highlighting our vibrant Kentler Flatfiles collection. The connect + collect fundraiser, a sales event spanning the month of May, will kick off with a party on Saturday, May 12 featuring tax-free art sales, two silent auctions, raffles, prizes, and refreshments donated by local vendors. Additional events will take place throughout the month, including panel discussions, lectures, tours and benefit concerts.

The goals of the connect + collect fundraiser are to promote the value and accessibility of the Kentler Flatfiles, encourage collecting, bring new audiences to the fields of drawing and printmaking, support living artists, and fund our vital nonprofit programming in Red Hook and beyond. All proceeds will support Kentler’s 2018 exhibitions, public events, the Kentler Flatfiles and K.I.D.S. Art Education workshops.

Tickets to the kick-off event ($50 apiece) will be available for purchase in the coming weeks. Artwork prices will be visible on the website starting April 1 and all sales will remain tax-free throughout the month of May.
