A solo exhibition and installation by Peter Levinson, an artist who over the past twenty years has created work that is simultaneously reductive and rococo. The installation, Latern, bridges the confines of the Kentler space with a fragile looping paper arch terminating in massive drapery shapes of corrugated board. The work is meant to create its own realm between sculpture and drawing; between a minimalist austerity of means and a theatrical presence from earlier times.
