Two Family Programs:
EXPLORING COLOR THROUGH MOKUHANGA

A SUMMER GARDEN in the CITY
Saturday, June 18, 10am-12:00pm

Teaching Artists: Kate MacDonagh and Lucy May Schofield

Families will create a garden at the three color workstations to print with pre-cut woodblocks:

The various colored shapes will be collaged together, overlapping (using Nori) to see how colors mix. A whole garden, an installation will be created and can be pasted to the door or window, or outside in the garden.

Saturday, July 9, 10AM -12:00 PM

Children will work with balsa wood, ballpoint pens, and water-based paint to create a mokuhanga woodblock print.
