In Reflection: Selections from the Kentler Flatfiles features 16 drawings and prints by 13 artists from
the Kentler Flatfiles. An essay by the Senior Curators accompanies
the exhibition and new materials, including videos and curator interviews with artists, will be released through the end of July.
ART YARD BKLYN offers art education programs for kids, teens, young adults, and practicing artists providing direct access to contemporary visual art. ART YARD Advanced Studio is an intensive studio course where participants develop their own voice as artists along with art making skills, and other contemporary art practices. ART YARD BKLYN is a safe haven where everyone is treated with kindness and respect. They are a community of creative thinkers, expansive dreamers, and well-educated art makers. The Kentler Flatfiles have been an essential element of Kentler International Drawing Space since its founding in 1990. A collection of over 2,000 artworks by local, national and international artists, this living archive represents the incredible breadth and diversity found in contemporary drawings and works on paper.The Flatfiles Digital Archive, providing full online access to the collection, was awarded an ArtWorks grant by the National Endowment for the Arts in 2015.
