Kentler International Drawing Space is located at 353 Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. We are open free to the public Thursday – Sunday from 12:00 – 5:00 pm. Please see our upcoming Events calendar and note that the gallery is closed in between exhibitions. “Drawing Together” family workshops are held each Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The Kentler Flatfiles are available to the public for viewing by appointment; please contact the gallery to schedule a visit.
Traveling by public transportation: The gallery is conveniently located on the B61 bus line with direct access to the G/F trains at Smith & 9th Street, the 2/3/4/5 trains at Borough Hall, and the A/C/F/R trains at Jay Street/MetroTech. Both bus routes (to Park Slope and to Downtown Brooklyn) stop in front of the gallery between Dikeman and Wolcott Streets.

Traveling by ferry: The IKEA Express Water Taxi departs from Pier 11 at Wall Street in Manhattan and lands at the IKEA pier in Red Hook, 4 blocks from the gallery. The ferry is free to the public on weekends and is $5 Monday – Friday. Weekend Hours: Pier 11 at Wall Street starts at 11:55am

The South Brooklyn route of the NYC Ferry will take riders to Red Hook from Wall Street (Pier 11) in Lower Manhattan across the East River stopping at DUMBO (Pier 1), Atlantic Avenue (Pier 6), and then Red Hook. Click here for the upcoming schedule and map:
Traveling by car: Red Hook is directly served by the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel and the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Exit the BQE at Hamilton Avenue and travel southwest on Van Brunt Street. The Kentler gallery (353 Van Brunt Street) is between Dikeman and Wolcott Streets.
